| Serengeti breweries Ltd (SBL) operates exclusively in Tanzania and is the 2ndlargest beer company with a market share of 28% and a leader in premium spirit category. It is integrated demand / supply business with 3 operational breweries in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza and Kilimanjaro (Moshi). SBL’s flagship brand is Premium Serengeti Lager, which accounts 50% of SBL sales volumes. The other brands are; Tusker Lager, Tusker Lite, Serengeti Platinum, Kibo Gold, Uhuru, Kick, Pilsner, Senator; while Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tangarray, Baileys are some of the wide range of the Premium Spirits owned.

| The purpose of the role is to assist Commercial Planning & Activation Manager (CPAM) to achieve the following:
- To execute, implementation and Assist CPAM to evaluate & analyse SBL”s national promotion programme & competitor’s activity strengths & weaknesses and propose corrective action
- Executing BTL promotional plans and strategies for SBL under leadership of CPAM while aligning with Sales team
- Execute a matrix of national promotional events by month, by brand, by region
- Assist CPAM to Manage the evaluation of all promotion activity, as agreed
- Assist the CPAM to Generate new innovative promotion mechanics
- Assist CPAM to Develop & Execute sales team presenter materials for each brand and promotion activity
- Assist CPAM to Conduct effective market visits and issue contact report after each visit
- Execute & manage different trade activations & grow SBL share in the market in close liaison both SBL brand & Sales team
- Execute the Visibility and Cold implications of the one plan.
- Identify brands to win in each outlet segment.
- Assist CPAM to design the Visibility strategy based on the One plan
- Propose / Identify the materials to achieve the brands’ strategy in terms of visibility and activations
- Propose / identify the fridge / cooler / cold universe and identify the gaps and propose solutions.
- Deploy and monitor visibility and cold materials and report on a monthly basis.
- Propose innovative visibility materials to help win the visibility war at the point of purchase
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment

- Alignment and agreement on the objectives of Cycle Planning
- Support and agreement on key responsibilities and parameters
- Alignment and sponsorship of the stages of the quarterly planning cycle
- Agreement and support on the sign off of the quarterly plan and the role of the CPAM / HCM / MKD and leadership teams if any changes are made outside of the timing windows

| Assist the CPAM to accomplish the cycle planning process , therefore equally responsible for:
- Assist the CPAM to design and develop BTL promotional plans and strategies for SBL, working in close liaison with SBL brand team
- Assist the CPAM (When necessary) to develop sales force presenter materials for each brand and promotion activity
- Manage the daily relationship with BTL agency and ensure execution standards are adhered as per agreed KPI / Standards
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment.
- Conducting weekly activations review with agencies, analyse performance and report.

- Qualifications and Experience Required:

·A Bachelor degree / Diploma in a relevant field
Experience
At least 3 years in brand management, trade marketing and marketing support. |
