PCI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing disease, improving community health, and promoting sustainable development worldwide. PCI Tanzania is concluding the initial phase of Food for Education (FFE) three years program in Mara region. In partnership with Bunda and Musoma Rural District Councils, and with support from the United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA), PCI will implement an expanded, follow-on 3-year program (2013-2016).
This position will mobilize community awareness, buy-in, active participation, and contribution of time and in-kind resources through participatory and community-centered approaches in order to establish supportive environment to carry out program interventions at the community level. To coordinate implementation of program activities at the community level; monitor progress and support efficient and accurate data collection; facilitate collective problem solving; promote quality assurance; strengthen linkages and information exchange between program staff, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business administration, social sciences or other relevant
discipline.
2-3 years experience in managing partnerships and experience in organizational
capacity building
Substantial experience using and including participatory approaches in program
implementation, including facilitation skills (and training of trainers)
Experience in conducting training of training and ability to work on her/his own with minimum supervision
Computer skills (MS Office);
