Access Bank Tanzania Senior Business Developer

Access Bank Tanzania is a full commercial bank providing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with a broad range of appropriate financial services. Established in 2007, the bank is owned by a multinational shareholder group and. member of an emerging global network of commercialmicrofinance banks (the "Access Group") with headquarters in Berlin/Germany.

In order to support our dynamic and ambitious expansion programme, we seek to recruit self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at head office, Dar es Salaam.

Responsibilities

Monitor the market situation and its development

Conduct quarterly reviews of competitors and their offer

Conduct monthly client satisfaction survey for all services offered by the bank

Report monthly to management on strategic risks in the risk committee

Coordinate marketing efforts

Monitor client service in the branches

Develop and implement the annual marketing plan

Daily follow- up and management of the marketing officer

Develop and implement market intelligence

Design value chain assessment for potential services, distribution channels, products

For mobile money-clarify the market demand and usage for mobile money and assess what FI/MNOprovide, clarify the agent role and assess the cash flow in the industry

 For agro loans- clarify the market demand from farmers and competitors, design crop calendar and establish a value chain assessment

Meet with industry stakeholders for agro loans and mobile money

For branch network expansion- screen and conduct market surveys for new strategic branch locations

Design pilot' phase and testing for potential services, distribution channels and products

Design pilot phase for agro loans and mobile money

Qualification and Personal Attributes.

Higher education (e.g. Master, Bachelor, and Diploma) preferably in BBA majoring in marketing, Business Management and other courses related to this field.

Ability and willingness to work in a team; ,

Sound computer literacy in Word and Excel; Fluent in Swahili and sound command of  English.
