The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
The British Red Cross (BRC) seeks to respond to disasters and address humanitarian needs internationally as part of the wider Red Cross and Red Crescent movement (RCM). This is an exciting time for BRC as we embark on an expansion of our support to partners in several areas of the world including Africa and the Middle East. The Africa and Middle East Manager will be responsible for leading BRC’s support to RCM partners in Africa and the Middle East.
This is a senior position within the International Division of the British Red Cross. The post-holder will lead the process of strategy development for Africa and the Middle East, reflecting BRC’s aspiration to build the capacity of the RCM to respond to crises and build resilience in vulnerable communities. The post-holder will lead the Africa and Middle East Team in the UK and overseas in building partnerships through which to address key humanitarian challenges in these regions.
