Position Description:
Job Purpose:
Oryx Oil Company Limited is looking for an energetic and results driven individual to maintain and
develop existing blending customer relationships, to identify and win new blending and lab business opportunities using technical, selling and negotiating skills so as to grow the lubricants business,
Principal Accountabilities
Meet team and individual KPIs
Plan customer calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new blend customers with a focus on retaining/expanding existing business relationships,
Increase the value for Oryx LOBP and Lab facility through cross, range and up selling,
Develop new opportunities with prospective customers independently and from leads developed through Tele-Prospecting, \
Understand the activity, business and needs of customers, provide sound technical information and advice on products and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with customers,
For new and existing customers, define and regularly review relevant customer relationship, behavioral and differentiated blending or lab services and their sales & marketing plan.
Review & plan customer business, products, service packages, contracts, prices, credit terms, credit limits and debt.
Carry out negotiations with customers, preparing quotations and proposals and agree on all operational requirements (including: price, contract, payment terms .and services).
Ensure all service providers carry out the agreed terms.
Be responsible and proactive in HSEQ issue that affects the individual, the office/field environment and their customers.
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate would be below 33 years of age and have the following profile:
First degree or equivalent in Chemical & Process engineering discipline or related
Additional qualification in marketing / business management related field will be an added advantage.
Awareness in lubrication, laboratory, blending and supply operations is essential.
Awareness in ISO 9000, OHSAS 14001 and ISO 14001 standards,
2 year working experience in commercial sales, lube blending or lab operations.
Good leadership skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Computer literacy, IDE, MS Office
Good administrator.
