Deloitte Tanzania is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of a Receptionist based in the Dar es salaam office.
Minimum requirements of the job
- Receive clients and visitors and notify relevant department/staff members of their arrival.
- Ensure that the reception area is kept tidy at all times and that necessary publications are available at the reception.
- Receive and record incoming hand deliveries, sign for them, and place in trays for dispatch by internal messengers.
- Prepare monthly costing of outgoing couriers for re-charging, and pass them to the Administration Assistant for checking and forwarding to the Finance department before the set deadline.
- Coordinate and establish priorities of urgent dispatches from all departments
- Maintain a petty cash float for stamps and sundry expenses in accordance with the Firm's policy.
- Operate the franking machine and ensure its re-charge, and update postage book.
- Sign driver departure time and control the vehicle work ticket.
- Hold letters or cheques for collection by clients.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Formal education and professional qualifications
- Diploma in secretarial, business administration, public administration or equivalent
- Switchboard/Reception training
- Be able to communicate in English
Relevant working experience
- At least 2 years' experience
- Computer literacy
