Position Summary Creative seeks qualified candidates for the full-time, local-hire position of Program Director (PD) on a USAID/CMM funded, cross-cultural, youth advocacy program in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
Primary Responsibilities The Program Director will be responsible for managing and reporting on the program in the following ways:
Serve as the programmatic point of contact with Creative Home Office, local partner staff and the USAID Mission.
Provide technical and administrative supervision of the local partner sub-award, including management of Program Co-coordinators.
Supervise the local partner’s curriculum development and activity implementation, ensuring compliance with the Cooperative Agreement, USAID regulations and the program strategic plan.
Manage program-reporting needs, including Bi-Weekly and Quarterly Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation Reporting, and Geographic Information System (GIS) Reporting.
Manage communication and public relations needs, including success stories, press releases, and ad hoc reports on program status and impact.
Support Local Partner staff as appropriate, providing guidance on USAID policy and procedure for monitoring, data collection and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field; • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing and managing assistance programs in developing countries; • Familiarity with USAID policies and procedures; • Demonstrated exemplary diplomatic, communication, and interpersonal skills; • Excellent oral and written English; Fluency in Arabic and/or Hebrew.
