Chief Trainer
Job purpose: management, development and delivery of capacity building programs for professionals
Core Functions
- Development of training concepts and programs
- Development of proposals under the customized training function
- Managing and participating in delivery of consultancies and training programs
- Support marketing of in-house training programs
- Contribute to the development of the KISM Certification Program
- Perform tasks related to above core functions as required
- Oversee and support marketing, and delivery of in-house certification programs
Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in education or business related field
- Diploma in purchasing and supply management;
- A registered member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management
- Minimum 3 years experience in training;
- Experience in design of skills training programs
- Ability to work with and manage teams
- Above average communication skills - both verbal and written
Training Officer - In-Company and Certification Programs
Job purpose: administration of customized and certification training programs
Core Functions
- Coordinate delivery of certification programs running at the Institute
- Marketing of certification programs
- Monitoring and reporting on certification programs
- Management of trainees records
- Support to other training programs
Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in education
- Certification in procurement and supply management will provide an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar position;
- Demonstrated knowledge of document, data management and presentation software
- Exposure to sales and marketing
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional manner
Training Officer - CPD Programs
Job purpose: administration of continuous professional development training programs
Core Functions
- Planning of annual training program
- Support to development of concepts for workshops
- Marketing workshops and in-house trainings
- Analyzing and reporting on workshop performance
- Maintaining and growing the client base
- Preparation of advertising material for training programs
- Overall administration and coordination of the trainings
Qualifications, Experience And Competencies
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in business
- Certification in procurement and supply management will provide an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar position;
- Exposure to sales and marketing
- Ability to coordinate and work well with others, sharing workloads, and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of internal and external customers in a professional manner
