old volumes which should be taken to Archives.

training to newly appointed office clerks.

(b) Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should posses the following academic and professional
qualifications
- Form IV certificate with credit passes in Kiswahili and English, plus a
Diploma in Secretarial Studies and has advanced training in modern
office technology including computer applications.
- At least four (4) years experience serving as Secretary I in a large
reputable firm.
(c) Main Duties:
- Works with heads of sections, units or departments
- Coordinates
all office needs and requirements,

- Holder of relevant Master's degree who is registered as a Graduate
Engineer.
- At least four (4) years experience serving as a Senior Laboratory
Engineer III in a reputable firm.
(c) Main Duties:
- Organizes and conducts formal training/seminars for technical staff in
the respective laboratory/workshop
- Conducts professional development programmes (PDPs) in their areas
of specialization

reputable firm

- Guards the property of the University.

6. (a) Job Title: Auxiliary Police Sergeant (3 posts)
(b) Qualifications and Experience

- Holder of a Form IV certificate who has obtained a Police certificate
from a recognized Police Training School plus Certificate in Law from a
recognized institution.
- At least four (4) years experience serving as Auxiliary Police Corporal
(c) Main Duties:
- Supervises junior auxiliary police
- Investigates cases and takes people to police as directed by
management
- Reports occurrences to seniors and advise them on how to
improve security in the University.
- Assisting in planning and assigning duties to subordinate
staff
- Carrying out investigations of complicated cases.

(b) Qualifications and Experience

(c) Main Duties

(b) Qualifications and Experience

- Form IV certificate with passes in English, Kiswahili, History or Civics or
Form VI with passes in English, Kiswahili and History plus National
Service Training and/or People's Militia Training Phase II and/or any
other form of military training. The candidate must be vetted by the

- Holder of a good first degree majoring in Accounting and CPA (T) or its
equivalent and must have been registered by NBAA as an Authorized
Accountant.
- At least four (4) years experience serving as Accountant/Accountant
Trainee in a reputable firm.
(c) Main Duties:
- Interprets financial regulations,
- Assists in coordinating Accounting services
- Conducts internal training of accounting staff in liaison with the
University Staff Training and Development Office.
- Assists in the implementation of the decisions of the University Funding
Promotion Committee as well as Council resolutions of financial
matters, annual estimates and budgeting.
- Reviews accounting policies.
