Position Description:

Department: Structural & Construction Engineering

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of relevant Master's degree who is registered as a Graduate Engineer

• At least four (4) years experience serving as a Senior Laboratory

• Engineer III in a reputable firm

Main Duties:

• Organizes and conducts formal training/seminars for technical staff in the respective laboratory/workshop

• Conducts professional development programmes (PDPs) in their areas of specialization

• Designs and supervises construction of experimental test rigs for M.Sc. and Ph.D students and for other research and development projects in the respective laboratory

• Conducts consultancy in the area of specialization

• Supervises and orients technicians and artisans in their duties

• Conducts job training for Technicians and Artisans

• Performs complex repairs and maintenance of laboratory facilities

• Performs any other duties as may be assigned

Permanent and Pensionable
