Role Purpose JOB PURPOSE To support end to end service assurance and network operations through tool and process implementation across the African continent. This role is required to establish regional process and standardization within the region. To also ensure regional adherence to set targets and performance management as it relates to MSP deliverables and align tool architecture and business process integrations with Network Operations process framework. Key Responsibilities CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1)Create and manage tools and process roadmap to enable global alignment and standardization. 2)Enablement of local operations with process framework aligment for etom/ITIL 3)Continual process improvement and evaluation against benchmarks and efficiency 4)Point of contact to support tool integration projects with MSP tool platforms. 5)Lead performance and quality improvement efforts through LEAN assessments and continual process and tool improvement CORE COMPETENCIES: ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE& SKILLS •Knowledge: -Engineering in Telecommunication/Electronics preferably Master in Business Administration. -Network operations, planning and implementation, GSM, cellular technologies, project management, preferably good financial management understanding. -Certified or Expert understanding of eTOM and ITIL implementation -Expert understanding of LEAN and Six Sigma methodology •Skills -GENERIC: Communication / leadership / project management JOB SPECIFIC: RAN/BSS network operations management experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 4 "E's" individual - Energetic, Energizing others, Edge to make decisions, Execute decisions Position Requirements QUALIFICATION •Ideally 5 years of telecommunications experience. Have a good management background in the Telecommunication industry preferably in the Operation or Support capacity. •Bachelor degree in Telecommunication, preferably followed by a MBA or MSc in Telecommunication |
