Job Summary:
Under the supervision of Head of Corporate Affairs, the Public Affairs and Communication Officer will be fully involved in the implementation of the communication component of the Bank’s Corporate Affairs strategy. The Officer will be the focal point for all internal and external communication by coordinating information from the various stakeholders and ensuring accurate and timely dissemination.

Job Specifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in international relations or other relevant specialization. A graduate/professional degree in a relevant specialization will have added advantage;
- A minimum of 5 - 8years of post-qualification experience; prior international experience in the public affairs space with grounding in institutional trade and development finance is an added advantage;
- Proven track record in engaging with policy and commercial trade agreements in the international arena;
- Demonstrated hands on experience in internal and external communications with an extensive portfolio of written corporate position papers or speeches;
- Results oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting.
