PositionTitle 3: Non - Communicable Disease and Oncology Training Coordinator
eports to: Oncology Curriculum and Training Specialist (primary) and NCD Manager (secondary)
Location: Rwinkwavu, Rwanda
Overall responsibilities:
The NCD/Oncology Training Coordinator is a volunteer position intended to provide administrative and logistics support to for NCD/Oncology Training activities. The job comprises of four primary areas: 1) printing and compiling of training material, 2) on-site logistics and facilitation support for trainings, 3) preparatory logistics support for trainings 4) compilation of training results, debriefing and contribution to training reports, 4) some general administrative support to NCD/Oncology team members based in Rwinkwavu
Education and skills required
• University level, ideally in a clinical area
• Highly motivated
• Highly organized and able to keep track and work on multiple tasks at the same time
• Interest in and willingness to learn about NCDs/Cancer
• Good communication skills: able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, with doctors, colleagues, specialists and individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Ideally, proficient in English or willing to learn
• Computer literate, proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
• Compassionate, and upholds principles of social justice
