PCI is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing disease, improving community health, and promoting sustainable development worldwide. PCI Tanzania is concluding the initial phase of Food for Education (FFE) three years program in Mara region. In partnership with Bunda and Musoma Rural District Councils, and with support from the United States Department of Agriculture
(USDA), PCI will implement an expanded, follow-on 3-year program (2013-2016).
The Human Resources Assistant will assist with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources section. This position plays a critical role in creating and maintaining employee records in extreme confidentiality including tracking of departmental and organization measurements that support the accomplishment of the organization's strategic goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in HR management/University certificate in HR Management 3 years relevant professional experience
HR Management
Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment, Effective oral and written communication skills, General knowledge of various employment laws and practices, Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs, Excellent interpersonal skills, Skills in database management and record keeping, Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality, Excellent organizational skills and must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
Excellent English skills (verbal and written)
