Ardhi Plan Limited is a Tanzania consultancy company of Urban and Rural Planners, Economist, Rural Specialist, Sociologists, Rural Development experts and environmental resources managers.

Records Management Assistant 

Purpose:
Documentation Officer is mainly responsible for keeping record of all documents related to the 1 core business of Ardhi Plan Ltd.
Scope of work
Coordination, follow up on all offers and the whole paper trail at Ministries and other institutions.
Updating clients on status of offers
Keeping record of all documentation related to Ardhi Plan's core business
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director
Qualification/Experience:
Have a Diploma in business administration, or equivalent.
Have knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness management
Knowledge of record keeping Information technology skills
Be able to work long hours and under pressure
Must be able to speak fluent English and operations

Projects Sourcing Executive

Purpose:
Projects Sourcing Executive will be the second in command to the Managing Director, he/she will be in charge of all projects, and will be the overseer of the day to day progress of all projects, ensuring that all the transactions and reports are processed on time and that the company image, website and corporate profile stays updated and correct.
Scope of work
Sourcing, negotiating and drawing up of projects
Coordination, supervision and monitoring of the performance and duties of documentation officer, IT officer.
Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of the company, and progress of all projects. Liaison with Managing Director. Coordinate the activities of other Heads of Department in the development of their strategic plans.
Any other duties as may be assigned by Managing Director
Qualification/Experience:
Have an MBA, MA in Projects Management, or its equivalent
Have knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness management and operations  management.
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices Knowledge of human resource principles and practices Knowledge of project management principles and practices Information technology skills
Must be able to work long hours and under pressure

IT Officer 
Purpose:
To ensure the streamlined operation of the IT function is in alignment with the business objectives of the company. The IT Officer will plan, as well as provide administrative direction and support for the daily operational activities of the company. The IT Officer will work closely with all members of staff, he/she will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Scope of work
Responsible for managing all ICT Systems within the company including Telecommunications (systems, infrastructure, email systems etc)
IT Policy and procedure formulation and implementation
Data communications infrastructure and systems
Creating programmes to assist the company in its day to day operations Radio Communications Systems
Management, update and maintenance of the company Website Any other duties as may be assigned by Managing Director
Qualification/Experience:
A degree in computer science or information technology
Have expert application in the ability to work in ways that achieve remarkable performance
Have skilful application of the ability to embrace the changing business environment Have expert skills in the ability to work with others to make a real difference
Be skilful in the application and the ability to make informed and effective decisions as well as the ability to keep confidential information in the strictest confidence.
Must be able to work long hours, and under pressure

Loader Driver
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored Participate in routine maintenance
Practice workplace safety and maintain inventory Perform other related duties
Qualification/Experience
A Clean valid driving license
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in loader driving. Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
Should have good hand-eye coordination with ability to work under pressure Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage

Accountant
Purpose:
Accountant will be the overseer of the day to day accounting procedures and processes of the company, ensuring that all the transactions and reports are processed and issued on time.
Scope of work
Ensure that all transactions are processed in all the systems accurately and timely
Ensure that all reports for management as well as statutory are issued correctly and on time            
Manage all relationships with our external stakeholders such as banks, TRA, Retirement Funds etc
Coordinate audit activities when auditors are on site and during finalization of the reports
Manage finance staff relations and welfare in as well as outside the office
Qualification/Experience:
Be a qualified Accountant
Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization
Be generally computer literate, 'but have advanced experience with office systems , software ' be familiar with the relevant statutory requirements for companies as well as individuals Ability to deal with pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
High level of integrity

Finance Manager 
Purpose:
Finance Manager will be the overseer of the day to day management of the finance department which includes assigning of duties to all senior finance officers, ensuring that all the transactions and reports are processed and issued on time.
Scope of Work
Ensure that all transactions are processed in all the systems accurately and timely'
Ensure that all reports for management as well as statutory are issued correctly and on time
Training of all accountants on any new developments in the profession as well as any skills that are appropriate for efficient performance of the finance functions
Manage all relationships with our external stakeholders such as banks, TRA, Retirement Funds etc
Coordinate audit activities when auditors are on site and during finalization of the reports
Manage finance staff relations and welfare in as well as outside the office
Ensure that leave cycle is adhered to by all finance staff
Qualification/Experience:
Be a qualified Accountant - CPA or its equivalent
Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a reputable organization be generally computer literate, but have advanced experience with office systems software      
Be familiar with the relevant statutory requirements for companies as well as individuals Ability to deal with pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
High level of integrity
Great knowledge in Tax Administration

Town Planner
Purpose:
The main purpose of the Town Planners is \,0 ensure quality, effective and timeous delivery of projects related to urban and regional planning activities  
Scope of work
Preparation of town planning drawings
Collect and compute all data in the system
Preparation and presenting weekly and monthly reports Preparations of work plans and deed plans of all projects.
Any other duties as assigned by Managing Director
Qualification/Experience:
Have a Bsc. Town Planning, or any management qualification.
Knowledge of project management principles and practices
Information technology skills and knowledge of all software related to town planning
Must be able to work long hours and under pressure

Human Resources Manager
Purpose:
The main purpose of the Human Resources Manager is to ensure that Ardhi Plan develops HR strategies, policies and practices that cater effectively for all aspects of employment and I I development of people and the relationship that exists between the company and its employees. It is also to ensure that the-working environment enables people to make the best use of their \ capabilities and to realize their potential to the greater benefit of the company and individual employees.
Scope of work
In broad terms the HR Manager oversees all the Human Resources related policies, strategies and practices pertaining to the two Ardhi Plan:
Maintain and update staff data, i.e. leave training and records.
Ensure that staffs are aware of company policies and procedures
Coordinate industrial relations matters within the company and in-charge of all disciplinary \ matters \
Advice and oversee issues related to recruitment, career development and reward -- management
More specifically the HR Manager ensures that the company's Human Resources policies, practices and strategies are shared within the entire organization and that are updated to be in line with the changing business needs and legal requirement of the country.
He/she ensures that line managers and CEO are timeously informed of the changing HR practices and that business is always proactive in dealing Human Resources function and that the company flexibly meets its Human Resources needs.
Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Public Administration/Human Resources Management or other related field of study. A Post graduate qualification will be added advantage
Strong interpersonal skills an ability to relate well with people of different age', culture and personality
At least 2 years working experience
Good knowledge of industrial relations and labour legislation in both Tanzanian and International context
Proven problem solving ability
Understanding of business in holistic manner
Assertive and sound communication skills both written and spoken with good computer knowledge and application
Fair, patient and friendly to people but assertive in dealing with issues
Ability to work independently, in a stressful environment and make sound business decisions
The ability to work through and with managers in a friendly, compassionate and non- judgmental manner;

Technical Services Manager
Our Objectives  
To research, develop and incorporate modern methods of human settlement development, environmental assessment and analysis, strategic planning and technical design into all aspects of project development and implementation.
To foster through trust and confidence mutually-beneficial partnership with institutions, both public and private, for purpose of furthering settlement development, environmental protection and conservation and socio-economic development.
To be a reference centre for the promotion and sharing human settlement development materials and information.
As our business is expanding fast, we are currently in the process of recruitment to enlarge out workforce in order to cater for our client's needs. Applications are invited for the following
Purpose: Technical Services Manager will be the overseer of the day to day management of the town planners which includes assigning of duties, ensuring that all the transactions and reports are processed on time.
Scope of work
Coordination, supervision and monitoring of the performance and duties of town planners, documentation officer and the IT officer.
Review financial statements and data generated by Town Planners as well as financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets.
Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of Town Planners and facilitate the coordination and communication between them and support services such as IT, HR, Accounts and Finance.
Liaison with CEO. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activities of Town Planners.
Qualification/Experience:
Have a Bsc. Town Planning, BA in business administration, BA in commerce, or any management qualification.  
Have knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
Knowledge of financial and accounting-principles and practices Knowledge of human resource principles and practices Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Construction Equipment Operators
Key Responsibilities
Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
Advice the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs Participate in routine maintenance
Practice workplace safety and maintain inventory
Perform other related duties
Qualification/Experience
Should have a Heavy Equipment Operation Certificate Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in operation of heavy construction equipment including bulldozers and graders.
Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
Knowledge of operation of frontend loaders, dozers, graders, compactors and other pieces of heavy equipment
Should have good hand-eye coordination with ability to work under pressure Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage

Personal Secretary
Purpose:
Provide secretarial support to Ardhi Plan's employees
Scope of work
Administration, including maintaining records and office documentation
Assist the Office Manager in logistical preparation of meetings and conferences
Manage reception, welcome guests, answer phone calls Any other task as requested by the Supervisor
To manage the office arrangement and cleanliness to ensure a favorable working environment
Qualification/Experience:
Certificate in Secretarial Services from Tanzania Public Service College or any other recognized institution
Have a good knowledge of computer package especially Microsoft office Fluent in English and Swahili both speaking and writing
At least three (2) years of related working experience
Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered to the successful candidate.
