| The IBM System Storage DS8000 offers high-performance, high-capacity, secure storage systems that are designed to deliver the highest levels of performance, flexibility, scalability, resiliency and total overall value for the most demanding, heterogeneous storage environments. As a rapid growth market, IBM China Systems & Technology Lab (CSTL) is looking for highly motivated SW developers to work on the high-end enterprise storage system. The developer will work together with World Wide Development team and serve Global customers. Main Responsibilities: Design, Development, Test, Release, and Support of Code in a Real Time Operating System Device Driver Design, Development and Implementation Analysis and Debug of Code and Hardware Ability to read specifications and generate test cases for Design and Product Change Requests as needed Test (Unit Test, regression, etc.) Customer support Qualifications: Major in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent AIX, Linux and Windows platform knowledge Embedded SW and device driver development experience are a plus Proficient in C/C++, shell, Perl programming skills Enterprise Storage system, SCSI, RAID, NAS, SAN and Fiber Channel knowledge is a plus Pro-active, and self-motivated Good oral and written English communication skills Logical thinking, good analytical skills and active learning Excellent teamwork and good sense of responsibility Customer facing experience is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with remote teams in different time zones | |||||||||||
