Professionals in this role will be responsible for: • Developing an in-depth understanding of the GTS portfolio including strategy, value proposition, & customer needs and hence provide guidance to the regional teams • Ensuring regular communication with the service product portfolio leaders, understanding their marketing requirements and fulfilling them by planning & executing marketing activities • Understanding global GTS strategy with their marketing priorities and helping in their customization and application to drive local regional marketing strategy • Facilitating creation of marketing plans across service portfolio, demand generation, and channel enablement priorities by leveraging best practices from across regions • Developing and managing regional launch plans, including program requirements and dependencies • Being an integral part of the assigned regional marketing team, understanding the market environment and working closely with the regional marketing managers • Provide regular feedback on the respective region to the worldwide team Depending upon the geography/regional alignment, the timings will be either China working hours, or the regional hours. The maximum overlap will be 3-4 hours beyond normal China working hours to ensure the team works well with the global counterparts. Skills/Capabilities needed The ideal candidate will be a person who is passionate about marketing and has a keen interest in building a career in marketing • Ability to take on new challenges • Understanding of marketing fundamentals – Strategy, Management & Execution • Analytical skills with good business acumen • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficiency with spreadsheets & presentation software (Excel & PowerPoint a must) Qualifications • Mater degree is required in related area and M.B.A (preferably in Marketing) is a plus • Minimum 3 yrs experience with exposure to marketing • Exposure to global work environment will be a plus | |||||||||||
