Position Description:

Department: Estates


Qualifications and Experience

• Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or City & Guilds I & II (CGLT) or

• Higher National Cert. (HNC) or Diploma from a recognized institution with a minimum of four years experience in a similar position

Main Duties:

• Liaises with Estates Management and Electrical Section staff on matters pertaining to the smooth operations of electrical repairs and maintenance in all UDSM facilities

• Purchases and controls electrical materials

• Advises on routine/periodic and emergency maintenance

• Plans and implements of all electrical repairs and maintenance in all UDSM facilities

• Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Estates Manager
