We have an exciting new role in our expanding OI Secretariat Confederation Development team.
Oxfam International is looking for a Confederation Development Advisor (Africa) to strengthen Oxfam’s presence and voice in the Africa Region as well as African voices in Oxfam’s global leadership, advocacy and campaigning.
If you have proven experience in managing change within an international organization, and have successfully delivered against organizational planning and processes, then we’d like to hear from you.
The successful applicant will have a flair and liking for collaborative working, and the ability to work in a decentralized virtual team. Your working relationships will be across boundaries and work will be delivered in matrix team structure. You will have an ability to adjust to constantly changing situations while maintaining focus on delivery and follow-through alongside the ability to accomplish complex tasks simultaneously, often under extreme pressure.
In addition to excellent planning, organizational and administrative skills, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English.
Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
