Mwanza City Commercial Complex Company Limited (MCCCCL) is the owner of Rock City Mall in Mwanza. The company is a partnership between LAPF Pensions Fund; Mwanza City Council and llemela Municipal Council, LAPF Pensions Fund being the main shareholder. The joint venture is for the purpose of construction and running of the shopping mall known as Rock City Mall, located in Mwanza.
Rock City Mall is a modern shopping complex of its kind in the Lake Region with over 20,500 square meters of lettable space comprising of banking halls, retail services and offices. Also complementing these is a spacious parking space and entertainment facilities including Children Park, Cinema halls and eating places. Since its inception, the Mall has been growing steadily and in response to that, the Company is seeking to recruit dynamic, committed, honest, qualified and result oriented professionals with proven good track record in the following job openings:
Legal Officer:ML8 (1 Post)
a) Duties and Responsibilities
Formulate and evolve legal defense and prosecution strategies for cases in which MCCCCL has interest and timely provide report to superiors.
Assist the Property Manager to liaise with the High Court an courts subordinate, various instructions
Government Ministries and Department on legal matters and timely provide report to superiors.
Handle, administer, and advise on leases, tenancies and general countersigning matters and timely provide report to superiors.
Perform any other duties as he/she may be assigned by supervisor.
a) Qualifications:
Holder of LLB, with at least three years post qualification experience in legal practice at a similar position in a reputable institution or certified Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania with LLB or equivalent qualifications.
Must be computer literate, with a strong background of the land laws and regulations in Tanzania.
1.Estates Officer: MLS (1 Post)
a) Duties And Responsibilities:
Inspect the buildings in order to identify defects and timely provide report to superiors.
Attend with courtesy tenants' complaints and timely provide report to superiors.
Carrying up rent assessment and ensuring that rent is paid by all tenants and timely provides report to superiors.
Ensure that land rent and services charges in respect of the plots are paid promptly and timely provide report to superiors.
Assist in preparation, implementation, and reviewing the Property Management Policy and timely provide report to superiors.
Advise timely on matters related to Property management.
Assist in developing annual maintenance programs of the properties and timely provide report to superiors.
Ensure that the building is promptly and efficiently, supplied with all facilities and social services i.e. furniture, other equipment and timely provide report to superiors.
Perform any other duties as he/she may be assigned by supervisor.
b) Qualifications
Holder of Bachelor's Degree in, Land Management and Valuation, Estates Management, Building
Economics or equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant work experience in a
reputable institution. Must be computer literate
