Tanzania Postal Bank (TPB) seeks to appoint dedicated, self motivated and highly organized Senior Manager Strategic Planning (1 position) to join the Bank in Strategic Planning Department team. The person will be responsible in Managing Costs for the bank through the conducting business analysis for the bank, expand TPB outreach, that includes carrying out feasibility studies on viable products, new locations/delivery channels and new business opportunities and improving core business processes through monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the Business Plan on monthly, quarterly and semiannual basis by bringing up issues of concern and for Management decision making.

Location: Head office , Dar es Salaam
Work Schedule: As per TPB Staff regulations

Main Purpose of the Job

• Identifying research problems as well as prepare and carry out research programs
• Responsible to assist in measuring productivity of the bank
• Conducting studies on constraints facing the bank and identify growth potentials.
• Preparing Stragegic Plans, Annual and Long term Corporate Plans
• Synchronize the bank’s policies with the corporate goals.
• Carry out analysis of banking industry performance from published financial statements.
• Carry out feasibility/viability studies for new product business analysis for the bank
• Conduct business analysis for the bank

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Prepare strategic Plans, annual and long range corporate plans and monitor business growth of Tanzania Postal Bank

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:
Education: Bachelor degree/Advance diploma in Banking, Economics,
Finance, Business Administration from any recognized University or equivalent.

Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in Banking Industry.
• Working knowledge of Equinox Functionality
