KCB BANK TANZANIA Product Development Manager

Position Details:

JOB PURPOSE: 

• Reporting to Head of Retail Banking the product development manager - To develop, adopt and customize new Retail Banking products in line with market needs in order to contribute to the growth and maintenance retail banking business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To determine the needs and wants of target markets and to adapt the organizations products and services to satisfying those needs and wants more effectively and efficiently than the competitors.
• Develop new products within the category.
• Review and propose pricing strategies for products within category.
• Recruit new customers and retain existing customers for the allocated product/service range.
• Obtain customer feedback and identify needs.
• To analyse, monitor and review sales activities by unit and develop marketing strategies to increase sales
• Provide product training for customers and sales teams.
• Develop and maintain product information communicated externally.
• Prepare and maintain reports.
• To carry out maret research.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

The position requires the following minimum qualifications:

• University Degree in business related studies

• At least 3 years management experience linked to the provision of products/services for specific target groups.

• Marketing exposure is essential
• A proven record in the delivery of business targets.

• Well versed in the various banking products.
