Job Title: Technical Advisor on Agribusiness Promotion

Supervisor: Director, Programme Implementation and Coordination Division
Under the supervision of the Director of the Programme Implementation and Coordination Division, The Technical Advisor (TA) will work on Agribusiness Promotion in the context of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP). The Technical Advisor will support the Director for the efficient implementation of the NEPAD Agribusiness Flagship programme (NAFP).
Education and Experience
Candidates must have a minimum qualification of a Masters Degree in Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences or a related field. Candidates must have at least seven (7) years post-qualification experience in a field related to agribusiness promotion, cooperation with the private sector, value chain development, economic research and analysis in Africa either within the public sector, multilateral institutions, international non-governmental or similar organizations nationally, regionally and / or internationally.
