TAWLAE (Tanzania Association of Women Leaders in Agriculture and Environment) is a non profit sharing and non political association of professional women in the fields of Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources.TAWLAE was started in 1995 and officially registered on 10thNovember,1995(Registration No.58527) with the mission of promoting agriculture, natural resources and environment and to build the capacity of women professionals and the community at large .
Qualifications
Education: Degree/Diploma in rural development, community development, economics, agriculture/horticulture, and gender mainstreaming. Supplementary training in income generation/entrepreneurship, monitoring, and, evaluation, gender analysis/mainstreaming.Microfinance knowledge is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong skills in participatory training, monitoring and evaluation are required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
Basic knowledge in Child Labour issues in the Tanzania in Agriculture and Domestic service sectors.
Experience working with donor funded projects is an added advantage
Computer proficiency, be skilled in Microsoft office applications, especially word, excel and internet.
Handle multiple tasks and establish priorities.
Ability to work as a team.
