Rural Development Specialist/Team Leader

We are currently seeking a Rural Development Specialist for a long-term Water and Sanitation Development Project in South Sudan with the following qualifications:

• 15+ years' experience in the management and supervision of complex (multi-year, 1 million+) rural water supply and development projects;
• 15+ years of experience in rural economic development, including water management;
• Master's degree in economics, management, water resources development (or similar);
• Experience with participatory planning in fragile states, preferable Africa (South Sudan);
• Experience in project management, training, monitoring and controls;
• 5+ years of experience working in South Sudan, or similar environmentStrong English skills (written and verbal);
• Experience in participatory planning.
