We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist for a long-term Water and Sanitation Development Project in South Sudan with the following qualifications:
- Degree in economics, management, business administration or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and contract management, including:
- Design of procurement packages, bidding procedures, and contract management
- Advising and providing assistance during project implementation on procurement-related activities
- Drafting procurement plans and activities
- Review of procurement documents, prequalification and bidding documents, evaluation reports and recommendations and technical specifications
- Drafting purchase orders and contracts with suppliers and service providers;
- Overseeing management of contract awards and disbursements
- 5+ years of experience working in South Sudan, or similar environment
- Strong English skills, including practical experience in report writing and developing/managing tender
- Working experience with one or more local South Sudan languages would be an asset
