Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), a Constituent College of the University of Dar esSalaam invites job applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following academic cadre vacant posts:

Senior Lecturer (Two Posts)

Areas of Specialization

Philosophy of Education (One Post)

Any of the following disciplines: Literature, Political Science, Economics, Geography or Kiswahili (One Post)

Qualifications and Experience

The applicant shall be a holder of a PhD degree; master's degree with an overall GPA of not less than 4.0 and bachelor's degree with GPA of not less than 3.8 in the relevant field.

The applicant should have a teaching experience of not less than three (3) 'years in higher learning institutions.

Age limit: The age of an applicant should not be above 45 years.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A successful candidate is expected to perform the following:

Teaching, Research, Consultancy and Community Services in his/her respective area of specialization.

Remuneration:PUTS 6-7

Economics with education

Informatics

Qualifications and Experience

The applicant shall be a holder of master's degree with an overall GPA of not less than 4.0 and a bachelor's degree with an overall GPA of not less than 3.8 in the relevant field.

The applicant should have a teaching experience of not less than three (3) years in higher learning .institutions.

Age limit:The age of an applicant should not be above 40 years.

Qualifications and Experience

The applicant should be a holder of a bachelor degree with an overall GPA of not less than 3.8 in the relevant field. Applicants for the post of Informatics should have a BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology with high skills in programming language.

Age limit: The age of an applicant should not be above 30 years.

Duties and Responsibilities

A successful candidate is expected to perform the following:

Assist in teaching, research, consultancy and community services in his/her respective area of specialization.
