Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, or other related discipline; a Master’s degree in Business Administration is a significant advantage
Over 10 years experience, at least 5 years at a senior level, in a large development organization, preferably with a micro-finance and/or micro-enterprise programme
Proven experience in fundraising, strategic planning and marketing; this includes proposals development for different donor in line with their requirements
Demonstrated experience in programme design, development, in particular, programme improvement, Networking, M&E and report writing.
Solid grant management experience, including ability to identify challenges and work with teams to propose possible solutions
A good understanding of capacity building; proven experience is preferable and in particular facilitating and influencing experience
A commitment to and understanding of participatory approaches to development with strong negotiation, networking and relationship development skills
Planning skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
Proven leadership and people management ability including strong team building and motivational skills
