Ardhi Plan Limited is a Tanzania consultancy company of Urban and Rural Planners, Economist, Rural Specialist, Sociologists, Rural Development experts and environmental resources managers.
Purpose:
The main purpose of the Human Resources Manager is to ensure that Ardhi Plan develops HR strategies, policies and practices that cater effectively for all aspects of employment and I I development of people and the relationship that exists between the company and its employees. It is also to ensure that the-working environment enables people to make the best use of their \ capabilities and to realize their potential to the greater benefit of the company and individual employees.
Scope of work
In broad terms the HR Manager oversees all the Human Resources related policies, strategies and practices pertaining to the two Ardhi Plan:
Maintain and update staff data, i.e. leave training and records.
Ensure that staffs are aware of company policies and procedures
Coordinate industrial relations matters within the company and in-charge of all disciplinary \ matters \
Advice and oversee issues related to recruitment, career development and reward -- management
More specifically the HR Manager ensures that the company's Human Resources policies, practices and strategies are shared within the entire organization and that are updated to be in line with the changing business needs and legal requirement of the country.
He/she ensures that line managers and CEO are timeously informed of the changing HR practices and that business is always proactive in dealing Human Resources function and that the company flexibly meets its Human Resources needs.
Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Public Administration/Human Resources Management or other related field of study. A Post graduate qualification will be added advantage
Strong interpersonal skills an ability to relate well with people of different age', culture and personality
At least 2 years working experience
Good knowledge of industrial relations and labour legislation in both Tanzanian and International context
Proven problem solving ability
Understanding of business in holistic manner
Assertive and sound communication skills both written and spoken with good computer knowledge and application
Fair, patient and friendly to people but assertive in dealing with issues
Ability to work independently, in a stressful environment and make sound business decisions
The ability to work through and with managers in a friendly, compassionate and non- judgmental manner;
Complete integrity and a clear sense of fairness and reliability
Mature and ability to relate well with others in discretionary manner;
Good attitude, enthusiastic, conscientious and willing to learn and open to criticism
