Job Description
Part of the sales force, to support the Head of Sales & Relationship Manager in the management of assigned portfolio.Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. To attain the portfolios sales targets, service standards and overall management of customer relationship.
2. Prepare Business Credit Applications in line with OCC procedures / policies
3. Management of Daily Excesses in line with Departmental Operating Instructions for OCC.
4. Ongoing monitoring of credit facilities specifically through Quarterly Performance Reviews, ASTAR and Early Alert.
5. Liaising with customers to manage the movement of security documentation between customers and the Bank.
6. Manage the Security documentation diary (DDN) thereby ensuring smooth utilization of facilities by customers.
7. In line with Facility application procedures prepare & monitor adhoc excess requests and document deferrals as and when required.
8. As part of Relationship Management Conduct Customer Due Diligence procedures as per DOIs. (periodic reviews and on new account opening)
9. Remain Alert to the risk of Money laundering and assist in the Bank’s effort in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to: ”identifying your customer, knowing your customer, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicions, safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to customers”
10. Prepare returns, industry analysis of assigned portfolio from time to time as required.
11. Maintenance of credit files to auditable standards.
12. Any other tasks that may be assigned by the Head of Sales, Head of Sales & Credit Services, Head of OCC, SCO Tanzania in the normal course of business.
Qualifications & Skills
University Degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant discipline
Strong analytical & communication skills.
Good knowledge of the Bank’s products & processes.
Thorough understanding of the Bank’s credit Policies.
