As the Commercial Procurement Manager you will participate in all aspects of procurement, including supplier analysis and selection, negotiation and supply management mainly in the Marketing, Inventory, Facilities and Fleet categories. You’ll also initiate and implement improvements through tools, metrics, processes and policies, as well as ensure that a consistent professional approach to procurement is practised throughout the organisation in compliance with internal corporate policies and procedures regarding procurement and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX).
Desired Skills & Experience
We will be looking for candidates with at least 5 to 10 years of proven procurement experience at a Manager or Director level.
Experience within the Telco or Technology industries a plus
Educated to an MBA level would be an advantage
Experience in Africa would be highly desirable
Should be able to develop Procurement procedures and systems as well as logistics and distribution.
