Overview of CTG Global CTG Global is a Personnel Management Service Company specialised in Recruitment, Management Consultancy, and Human Resources in countries experiencing or emerging from armed conflict, natural disasters, or acute social and economic crisis worldwide. CTG Global provides tailored personnel management support enabling a growing number of public and private sector agencies and individuals to achieve their objectives in complex and challenging environments. CTG Global clients currently comprise UN agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), and different corporate organisations such as security companies.
Overview of the Position
CTG’s client is an Oilfield Support Services Company that is looking for an international CEO for their Roads and Bridges company, which conducts infrastructure development projects in South Sudan.
The CEO will provide leadership to position the company at the forefront of the industry. Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
General Functions
- Develop a strategic plan to implement the Holding Company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization in compliance with established policies and objective of the Holding Company.
- Oversee the client’s operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the client in compliance with established policies and objective of the Holding Company.
- Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and direct implementation activities in compliance with established policies and objective of the Holding Company.
- Plan, develop, and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards for the client in compliance with established policies and objective of the Holding Company.
- Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions and accordingly report on monthly basis to Holding Company.
- Evaluate performance of executives of the client for compliance with established policies and objectives of the Holding Company and contributions in attaining objectives.
- Promote the client through written articles and personal appearances at conferences and on radio and TV.
- Represent the client at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions.
- Promote the client. to local, regional, national, and international constituencies.
- Build a fundraising network using personal contacts, direct mail, special events, and foundation support.
- Prepare and furnish the client. comprehensive annual report to Holding Company.
- Direct the client planning and policy-making committees in compliance with established policies and objective of the Holding Company.
- Oversee foreign operations to include evaluating operating and financial performance.
- Other duties as assigned by GM incorporation with above duties.
Essential Experience
• Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop financial plans and manages resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Knowledge of public relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources. • Work requires professional written and verbal communication in English and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects. • This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and ten (10) years of experience in a leadership role for a large division or company. • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel.
Working Conditions • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require frequent weekend and evening work. Work may require frequent overnight travel. • Based in Juba, Southern Sudan on competitive international package.
