Job Description:
The Youth & Student Campaigns Intern supports the national youth engagement team in leadership development, advocacy, and fundraising.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting and scaling existing campaigns - 30 Hour Famine, Water Walks, Gift Catalog, and others.
- Supporting and scaling existing youth programs - Youth Ambassador Program, clubs, volunteers, trips, events, and others
- Support the development of new campaigns, programs, and products
- Working with programs teams and marketing teams to develop campaign and youth programming resources and tools
- Coordinating internal projects that support the raising of young activists on behalf of World Vision Canada
Job Requirements:
- University degree and/or college specialization in marketing, business/fundraising, or international development
- Marketing experience - youth marketing in particular would be an asset
- Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple medium to large scale projects
- Administrative Proficiency with digital office tools (microsoft/google) and an attention to detail in tracking revenue, budgets, contracts, and logistics
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Well versed in social media to support engagement, campaign promotions, and community development
- Works well under pressure
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is highly preferred
