Duties and responsibilities of Clinical Officer
Providing medical care to inpatient and outpatient at Unilever Tea Tanzania Limited - medical and occupational health department.
Diagnosis and treating the OPD patients including ordering laboratory investigation, drugs, prescription, counseling, admission of those patients with severe illness, performing minor surgeries e.g. suturing wounds, speculum examination, reduce fractures, emergency oral care procedures and assist in major operation.
Responsible for ward rounds for in patients and record keeping in different register, check status and hygiene of patients.
Performing medical examinations to employees' (pre employment, periodic and exit medical examination). Filling and recording accident forms and sent to, respective units.
Early identification of at risk mothers, plan for their management, assist delivery and postnatal counseling.
Maintain safe use of Company properties at OPD, minor theatre and dispensaries and report to AMOs, MATRON and the Medical Officer for any damage in company property.
Countercheck all OPD patient registers to ensure proper registration and charging by the clerks.
Compile monthly reports and request for drug supply.
Responsible as first consultant on call to all in coming patients twenty four hours.
Maintain highest level of confidentiality.
To promote interdepartmental relations and harmonious relations with all service providers.
Responsible for amending care and treatment clinic clients and maintain good image of Unilever on cooperate social responsibility (CSR).
Responsible for preparing periodic medical examination time tables in UTIL (Food handlers, chemical handlers, People working at height and drivers).
Responsible for Quality surveys in OPD and care and treatment clinic.
Responsible on supervision of dispensary and clinical assistants under their reporting lines.
Identify unit population by doing regular census and registration of dependants
Visit day care centers to assess nutritional status of children
Implementation of company defined policies, procedures, programs and systems allowing the unit/Department to meet the company commitment on Occupational Health, Safety environment care and consumer safety
Proactive identification of hazards on environmental aspects and putting in place effective safeguards aiming at eliminating/reducing of accidents or incidents

Duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Factory Manager
Offer support to Finance Officer by performing the following roles:
Prepare monthly management accounts for un from the ledger
Submit results in SAP BCS collection tool as per Unilever timings and instructions Prepare performance reports for use in LT meetings
Write monthly commentary on results in consultation with Finance Officer
Prepare 8 quarter rolling financial forecast in consultation with operations, sales team and Finance Officer Submit un accounts for consolidation into UTEA management accounts
Ensure SCOA compliance
Ensure compliance with Unilever Accounting Policy Manual Point of contact with reporting regional team
Participate in internal and external audit reviews by: Providing information and explanation set access rights and factor in segregation of duties (SoD)

Relevant Skills and Experience
Experience
Bachelors in Accounting / Finance and or Professional qualification on Accounting
Experience - Three to five years business experience
Decision support and Ad Hoc evaluation - The combination and use of financial and non-financial information to facilitate timely and accurate decision making and proactive customer solutions.
Performance reporting and management of the business planning process - Must be able to analyze complex financial actions and prepare, communicate and influence others relating to analytical findings/recommendations. Consolidate major variance explanations and all other inputs, including non-financial information, for the monthly financial reporting process.
Testing and evaluating business plans - Providing internal/external customers with business financial models to support them with Supply Chain decisions including Customer Service initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Plants and Machinery Upkeep
Monitor electrical problems to all installations including staff houses and water supply pump stations
Scheduling and supervising available electricians and ensure smooth running of factories operations
Attending and co-coordinating major and minor electrical breakdowns with other maintenance crew around the company
Maximizing asset availability by optimizing spare part inventory
Understanding and application of TPM principles, e.g. supporting AM,EEM/planned maintenance
Radio, communication and telecommunication systems and repairs
Recognizing impacts of material specifications on improving performance, quality repairs and loss elimination
Specifying power requirements for production and upkeep/smooth running of power houses bothKilima and Lugoda
Running and upkeep of irrigation electrical pumps and all pump houses
Provision of energy use reduction solutions in all primary tea processing factories
Managing asset safety, regulatory affairs and application of engineering standards
Safety, Health & Environment
Implement clearly defined company policies and standards on electrical safety meeting local and international standards
Develop and implement activities on Unilever Sustainable Living Plan, reducing usage of electricity at the same time power house emission brought down to minimal levels
Conduct safety engagements covering Behavioral safety audits; Planned safety inspections; Safe Travel; Deep compliance audits and Near miss reporting on all areas of electrical safety within the company and implement actions fully to address safety concerns
Ensure LaTa systems are fully operational in all factories and departments
Ensure that all incidents are promptly reported and investigated according to the set procedures.
Deliver environmental milestones and programmes on waste management.

Duties and responsibilities of Registered Nurse Giving direct nursing care to individual patients.
Keeping custody of patients valuables, hospital property and safety of patients and staff
Maintaining highest nursing ethical conduct and etiquette guided by philosophies of nursing and those formulated in the hospital. Utilizing nursing process as a guide for planning nursing care, ordering nursing intervention to meet patients needs and implement both intervention and treatment regimes
Ascertaining correctness and validity of doctor's prescription for treatment before, during and after giving treatment to patients. Keeping accurate and update state of health observation charts, and nursing care notes
