Position: Programme Manager - Water
Location: Lima, Peru

The Global Green Growth Institute is looking to hire a Programme Manager to support their international project work in Peru, with the possibility to participate in work in other Latin American countries. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the water sector.
Working with Senior Programme Managers and reporting into the Director of the London office, the Programme Manager will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams in the areas of their expertise.
The key priority will be to identify, evaluate and prioritise green growth opportunities, and support partner countries in driving implementation and tangible impact on the ground.
More specifically, this Programme Manager will be responsible for:
• Conducting detailed analyses, policy design and implementation support, public and private sector stakeholder engagement, and international knowledge sharing
• Coordinating consultation and field level engagement with key stakeholders on the ground
• Coordinating consultations with government and non-government agencies
Other key experience and capabilities will include:
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, alongside strong synthesis and strategic thinking skills
• A good understanding of the link between poverty, human development and environmental sustainability
• A post-graduate degree in social sciences (e.g. economics), agriculture, environment or development sciences or other relevant disciplines
• Solid professional experience in areas relevant to the water sector
• Project delivery experience, i.e., managing the delivery of results on time and on budget
• Work experience in developing countries
• Multi-cultural literacy, and fluency in Spanish
• Experience managing teams of three or more people
