About the Job
The LFS Advisory Services Division is currently seeking to strengthen its capacity in the area of mobile and branchless banking. In this context, LFS is looking for qualified professionals interested to work in upcoming consultancy assignments. Projects in this area are likely to involve feasibility studies, design of pilots and roll-out activities in mobile/branchless banking products and services with our advisory clients.
Specific information on individual projects, positions and locations will be shared as and when they have been determined. It should be noted that hiring depends upon successful tendering for projects.

Minimum Requirements

Hands-on experience in the implementation of mobile and/or branchless banking programs in developing markets
Proven track record in designing and implementing mobile and/or branchless banking products and services
Understanding of and willingness to tackle operational issues in mobile/branchless banking product development and roll-out
Familiarity with associated information technologies (MIS, switching/clearing, telecommunications, etc.)
At least 5 years work experience in MSME finance as an expatriate advisor or in a commercial bank (of which at least 3 years exposure to mobile/branchless banking)
Strong communication skills, orally as well as in writing
Fluency in English, both orally and in writing

Additional Assets

Management experience in an MFI or bank with mobile/branchless banking operations
Experience in working in and managing donor-funded technical assistance projects
Ability to work in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese
