Your profile:
Long Term Advisor for support of the Ministry with regard to Project Implementation in the Water Sector. Suitable engineering background with relevant experience in planning, procurement and implementation of water and sanitation projects in sub-Saharan Africa, experiences with basket funding mechanisms and low-cost technologies will be appreciated as an additional asset. 15 years professional experience is a minimum requirement. Further requirements regarding professional experience:  Relevant experience in the supervision of construction works (pipeline constructions, well constructions, pumping stations, water treatment plants), relevant project experience in project planning and implementation in sub-Saharan African countries: minimum 5 years, plus required professional experience from project planning and implementation in industrialised countries: minimum 5 years. Regional Experience in East Africa would be an asset.
