The Institute of Finance Management was
established by Act No. 3 of 1972 to provide training, research and consultancy
services in the fields of banking, insurance, social protection, taxation,
accountancy and related disciplines.

7.1.1
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Conducts
lectures, research, tutorial seminars ;
·
Prepares
case studies ;
·
Works in cooperation with senior members of
staff on specific projects such as research and consultancy;
·
Supervises
student’s projects.
7.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Master’s
degree in relevant field of study from recognized higher learning institutions
precede by a Bachelor degree of at least 3.8 GPA. For Data Structure Post
applicants must be a graduate of Computer Science in first Degree.
·
Implementation of Java/c++/c# will be an added advantage and for Development
Studies Post applicants must have Masters Degree in Development Studies.
7.1.3 REMUNARATION:

7.2.1
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·
In-charge
of the directorate.
·
Overseas student’s guidance and counseling
services at the Institute in collaboration with relevant departments.
·
Supervise
the administration of students’ welfare services
·
Organize, in collaboration with other
Institute Organs, the orientation programs for fresh students.
·
Develop appropriate strategies for
anticipating, controlling and managing student’s conflicts.
·
Foresees and anticipate student needs and
potential problems and liaises with Institute management in order to avert
destructive conflict.
·
Ensures that the Institute student by- laws
and regulations are observed and necessary actions are taken to those violating
them
·
Monitoring and ensures that catering services
being provided by the contracted party are of acceptable standards.
·
Supervise
cafeteria cleaning and janitorial services outsourced to private service
provider.
·
Coordinate
the management and affairs of the student’s organization.
·
Report
to the Deputy Rector, Planning, Finance and Administration.
7.2.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Masters degree in Education,
Psychology, Sociology, Public/Business Administration, Management or any other
relevant field.
· Must have at least 8
years experience in Senior Managerial position.
7.2.3 REMUNARATION:
Attractive remuneration package according to
institution`s salary scale PGSS 21
