About Your Job:
This is a temporary position which is required for a period of 12 months, available due to Maternity Leave. The position requires someone to commence ideally by the end of August.
As Manager – Corporate/Leisure, you are ultimately responsible for delivering the Revenue Budget for the prescribed portfolio of accounts. Managing relationships with Qatar Airways’ corporate and trade customers will be paramount to your success as will negotiating agreements.
Reporting to the Corporate/Leisure Sales Manager, you will contribute to the formulation and implementation of our UK sales strategy, and prepare an account development plan to achieve short, medium and long term mutual benefits for both Trade Partners and Corporate customers. It will be expected that you maintain sales professionalism standards, providing regular Market Intelligence and feedback from customers and competitors.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing individual expenditure budgets and coordinate projects and initiatives on behalf of UK Sales.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role must have a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a Sales and Marketing role, within the Travel industry. You must be educated to a high level (i.e. College, University), and have a good understanding of airline systems and interpretation of available data.
You will show above average commercial acumen and will be able to spot and interpret market trends. It is imperative that you have solid experience in negotiating contracts. You must have the ability to articulate and deliver sales strategies and to sell in the benefits of our products and services. Having excellent planning and time management skills is a must, along with sound knowledge of the travel industry.
