UMATI is a voluntary, non-profit organization established in 1959 which deals with Sexual and Reproductive Health. UMATI is affiliated to International Planned parenthood Federation (IPPF).
The Association has equal employment opportunity and is intending to
fill the posts mentioned below at its Head Office based in Dar-es-Salaam.
Job Purpose
The Officer will be responsible for the management of operational activities related to skills development, performance of staff, recruitment and industrial relations.
Key Tasks
Ensure that suitable qualified multi skilled personnel are available
Overall responsible for staff skill development
Ensure that the Association remains' competitive and progressive in remuneration policies
Coordinate efforts of Volunteers and staff in establishing UMATI branches and updating members register annually
Ensure relevant Insurance policies ie Motor vehicle, Fire, Theft/ Burglary, Office 'equipment etc. are in place.
Ensure that office services are provided and maintained to provide safety and security at all working places.
Perform any other duties as the Executive Director may require.
Education and Qualification
Degree in Public Administration or Human Resource or related field and Masters Degree will be added advantage.
A working experience of at least two years
Computer literate
Skills
Good interpersonal skills and self confidence
Self motivated and ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively under pressure
Excellent communication in both Kiswahili and English
