The role of the Oracle Functional Analyst is to help with day-to-day post production support of R12 Oracle E-Business Suite. The primary focus is on the support, troubleshooting and testing of the HRMS, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), and Projects Costing & Billing modules in a post-production environment. The position reviews and resolves problems, tests new functionality, and works with end users to ensure the solution provides the expected benefits. The role will: - Support end users by troubleshooting Oracle applications functional issues in a production environment
- Working closely with end users and technical team in troubleshooting alerts, reports and workflows
- Maintain and troubleshoot Oracle Workflows and Alerts
- Develop and debug triggers, procedures, packages, functions and views
- Support the following reporting tools and technologies; Discoverer Desktop, and WebADI
- Perform basic SQL queries (must have knowledge of Oracle tables, views and packages)
- Communicate effectively with both technical and functional audiences
- Coordinate with hosting and support partners to log and resolve issues
- Work with DBA and project team on patch planning
- Track Oracle Service Requests (SRs) as necessary
Qualifications: - BS/BA required; Masters preferred;
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 required;
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 desired;
- Working knowledge of HRMS, OTL and Projects Costing & Billing modules;
- Ability to analyze system configuration settings, parameters, and data in order to troubleshoot system issues;
- Experience with reporting tools like Discoverer Desktop, and WebADI;
- SQL skills required (familiarity with TOAD and/or SQL Developer);
- Knowledge of Oracle technical objects required;
- Ability to communicate with both technical and functional audiences;
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
