The Position
The assignment is to support Plan International Australia to meet accreditation and Code of Conduct program quality standards.
A part time contract over a 6 month period will be offered, with start dates and days to be negotiated.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Accreditation preparation
- Monitoring and reporting on the preparedness plan
- Compiling documentation sets for accreditation
- Liaising with Country Offices to secure relevant information and documentation
- Assessing gaps in accreditation preparedness and formulating recommendations to address these
2. Coordinate the ACFID code of conduct assessment
3. Design and implement a process to extend complaints mechanisms and information policies into programs implemented in partnership with Country Offices
The Person
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in business, international development or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of AusAID accreditation process and ACFID code of conduct requirements
- Knowledge of NGO practices
- Microsoft applications
- Able to liaise and present to senior level staff
- Experience in planning, coordination and report writing
- Experience in NGO organisational processes
