PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To provide leadership in the delivery of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services and solutions supporting the business and ministry of World Vision Haiti. Ensure that ICT services are provided in the most cost effective manner, fully meeting the operational needs of the National and Relief Offices in alignment with regional and global ICT strategy. Utilise Regional and Global ICT services to leverage economies of scale, converge on a common global ICT architecture, and take advantage of Regional and Global ICT methods and expertise. Partner with Regional and Global ICT and business units to ensure the successful deployment of enterprise ICT solutions in WV Haiti.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership
Provide vision and leadership in recognising and exploiting the potential of evolving Information and Communication Technology to support World Vision’s mission. Provide leadership and management to WV Haiti ICT team. Work closely with, manage, and provide mentoring and development of the team. Build ICT capacity and awareness in WV Haiti that will support the ministry and contribute to its effectiveness, quality and accountability. Provide leadership and advice on ICT matters to WV Haiti Senior Management Team Lead and develop annual performance agreements, performance reviews and agreements to all WV Haiti ICT staff.
Management
Provide day-to-day oversight and management of WV Haiti ICT Team, ensuring that customer service objectives are achieved and regional / Global ICT initiatives are successfully implemented. Maintain the aggregated view of key ICT projects’ status and schedule for implementation and support in WV Haiti. Maintain an ICT Dashboard for National Office performance.
Customer Relationship Management
Ensure client satisfaction for all WV Haiti ICT Services. Manage the field engagement for Partnership driven ICT initiatives (like PMIS, stepWISE, etc) while ensuring that this is in alignment with WV Haiti priorities. Promote a clear, concise and verifiably positive relationship with the WV partnership ICT leaders. Be the key point person representing WV Haiti on Partnership ICT issues. Represent WV Haiti in relevant Partnership forums such as the IT Council. Provide input and feedback on behalf of WV Haiti to the Partnership CIO and Partnership forums on Partnership IT directions, policies, standards, and initiatives.
Coordination, Collaboration, Innovation & Networking
Develop and execute WV Haiti ICT service delivery model that balances the need for standardization and centralization for efficiencies and the need for local autonomy and ICT delivery that reflects local conditions and the need for location-specific effectiveness. Foster and coordinate sharing of resources across the WV Haiti. Develop, enhance and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders operating in Haiti
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
Post-graduate degree in computer science or information systems management or under-graduate degree in same with 10+ years professional experience in ICT Management. Strong interpersonal communication skills, leading and influencing in a cross cultural environment. Strong writing and presentation skills Solid understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, software as a service, and web based application architectures. Strong understanding of ICT Systems Architecture Strong understanding of Project Management Strong understanding of ICT Strategy ICT senior management (7 years) Management and/or technology consulting (4 years) Promoting and managing a service delivery environment Negotiating and drawing Terms of References and Service Level Agreements Up to 45% in-Country (Haiti) Up to 5% global
