Logistics Engineer

Vacancy: Logistics Engineers (3)

Job Description (Duties):

* Prepares Logistics and support plans.
* Ability to coordinate, organize and manage vehicle fleet for transport of personnel and goods on daily basis.
* Work within organizational rules and regulations to mange transport by producing monthly reports.
* Ability to draw roaster and movement plans.
* Ability to manage fuel consumption.
* Constantly liaise with programmes, security and head office for coordination purposes.



Necessary Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in logistics or related fields.
* 1-2 years work experience in warehouse management or transportation company experience.
* Fluent in both spoken and written English.
* Good computer skills, especially in office 2007/2003.
* Must poses a drivers license.
* Should be able to work in Juba for a long time and can go on business trip to other towns in South.

Network Design and Optimization Specialist

Vacancy: Network Design and Optimization Specialist (2)
REPORT TO: CTO

Country: Southern Sudan
Job Description (Duties): Duties and Responsibilities:

* Ensure that the network is properly designed with the right technologies with flexible capacities growth.
* Prepare all the technical specifications for the network equipment according to the investment plan and in detail. Provides technical input to the business cases for investment.
* Continuously make reviews and make adjustments in the network for including network management systems with the aim of improving performance and efficient monitoring and control of the network.
* Check and ensure that all documentation (Contracts, network drawings, etc) for provision of new systems, redeployment or recovery of old systems, etc is correct.
* Liaise with all the other departments/sections to ensure that the investments planned meet the customer requirements.
* Do regular spot checks on the network to ensure correct and accurate records are maintained and continuously updated. This includes frequency management and infrastructure.
* Organize field-planning duties to ascertain accommodation of equipment and to identify suitable land/sites for positioning client equipment, where necessary.


Necessary Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer or any related fields with Telecom certifications.
* 2 years experience in telecommunication directly related to LTE Network Planning/design and Optimization, GSM Network Optimization, Network Optimization Algorithm Design and Realization,PS/IP/Application Optimization.
* Experience in developing network proposal, network audit, parameter tuning and configuration.
* Knowledge of strategic planning and strong analytical skills to the development of long/short term plans.
* Strong people management skills with a track record of performing effectively in a team setting.
* Good communication skills.
* CCNA/CCNP qualification an added advantage.

Civil Works Engineer

Vacancy: Civil Works Engineer (10)
REPORT TO: CTO
Location: Juba
Country: Southern Sudan
Job Description (Duties):

* Plans and designs the work schedule (site survey, site supervision and site handover) in order to meet target dates.
* Directs the sub-contractors and coordinates all their civil work activities on his/her sites.
* Coordinates with Client's Site Representative(s) to ensure an efficient roll-out of the sites' work.
* Coordinates efforts with all sections of the company (Logistics & Procurement, Quality Control, HR & Administration and Accounts) as per the company's internal procedures.
* Ensures that all civil works being executed under his/her supervision conform with the Client's specifications, the BOQ and the approved drawings.
* Ensures that all contract-related civil activities (ready mixed concrete, portable cement, excavation, back filling and compaction...) are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications.
* Ensures that all civil materials, tools and equipments are in accordance with the engineering standards and specifications.
* Reports all progress and troubleshooting at sites on daily to the Project Supervisor using company reporting formats.
* Hands over completed sites to the Client after receiving the Quality Control Section's acceptance.
* Completes and signs all internal Handover documents (Quality Control Checklist) with sub-contractors.
* Completes and signs all Client's acceptance documents at the sites.
* Adheres to all safety, health and environment standards (wearing of helmet, overall, safety boots, googles, gloves and safety belts) .


Necessary Qualifications:

* Engineering degree with a bias in Civil engineering.
* 1-2 years working as a civil engineer preferably on a Telecom project.
* Should be fluent in spoken and written English.
* Experience in Auto CAD.
* Good computer skill, especially in office 2007/2003.
* Should be able to travel to other cities within southern Sudan to supervise the tower construction.
