The NetWorks project is a global USAID funded project with activities in various countries, designed to support National Malaria Control Programs (NMCP) to develop efficient, comprehensive and multi-channel sustainable programs for achieving and maintaining high ownership and use levels of LLINs and related technologies by at risk populations. The project will build upon previous successful investments and efforts achieved through a range of public, private, campaign and routine approaches.
The aim of this job is to supervise and coordinate the NetWorks activities in South Sudan
The successful candidate will:
· Master of Public Health or equivalent
· Minimum of one year relevant previous field experience in South Sudan, preferably in a coordination role
· Previous experience in the implementation of ITN programs
· Previous experience in implementing surveys
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· Excellent computer skills
· Good analytical and reporting skills with good attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Comfortable representing the project and organisation externally
· Sensitive to cultural and political environment
· Ability to live and work in a hot and remote environment with limited amenities
· Ability to work under stressful conditions and to remain flexible and calm under pressure
