UN Women Tanzania is supporting the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to mainstream gender in its budgeting system by enhancing accountability for gender equality and women’s empowerment; deepening understanding of decision makers and national partners of effective uses of gender responsive budgeting (GRB) tools and strategies; and strengthening country capacity to institutionalize the application of GRB in the context of the aid effectiveness agenda.
UN Women in Tanzania is seeking to recruit a National consultant to review the budget regulatory framework for gender responsiveness in Tanzania. The consultant will work directly with the UN Women office in Tanzania.
