Agricultural Labour Practices Supervisor
You will be joining the Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications Department reporting to the Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications Manager in Morogoro.
This position is responsible for:
Developing and producing Agricultural Labour Practices communication materials according to the local needs and requirements in cooperation with communications function and ensure alignment with relevant function of ALP training content and schedule for Production Technicians and Growers.
Consolidating and analysing ALP observations in order to provide recommendations for improvement programs to the ALP
Committee and ensure robust and timely reporting on ALP program.
Compliance with GL Financial instructions and standards by ensuring that labor practices budgets are managed and planned in a timely manner.
Support identification of projects to be implemented in contracted grower communities in cooperation with Social
Programs function.
Executing other projects as assigned by Line Manager and providing support where needed for Corporate
Communications function.
• Human Resources Business Partner Associate
You will be joining the Human Resources Department reporting to the Leaf Human Resources Manager in Tabora.
This position is responsible for:
Handling Employee and Labour Relations matters by facilitating the proper disciplinary procedures on site. support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with Tanzanian Labour legislation first line support to responding to grievances received and resolving them accordingly as per internal policy documenting and processing all administration linked to first line employee/employer consultations including minutes warning letters poor performance improvement plans and ensuring effective negotiating process is maintained with unions to ensure a sound employee relation environment.
Supporting Human Resources administrative functions and processing all necessary paperwork from recruitment to exit and submitting to Compensation /!t Benefits team for processing attending to general HR queries from employees and management and escalate to HR & Manager when required Following up and provides feedback to line and employees on core HR services & HR initiatives being implemented facilitating the recruitment and onboarding of seasonal
Supporting the Compensation and Benefits team by working together in the administration of all C&B programs such as medical services, seasonal employees program and in the implementation, and management of compensation initiatives to ensure that compensation practices are linked to the overall JTI guidelines, principles and local strategy to attract and retain talent on site.
Supporting the Talent Management team in in the administration of all Talent Management interventions project coordination-EES, recruitment and selection, Assessments and Performance management and the annual performance planning on site, coaching and review process using Dialogue, including calibration of performance objectives across functions and utilization of the Dialogue system in order to embed a performance management culture within the business that is aligned with JTI values.

Senior Buyer
You will be joining the Leaf Buying and Services Department reporting to the Leaf Quality Manager in Morogoro.
This position is responsible for:
Purchasing tobacco from designated buying stations and ensuring rules and regulations pertaining to market center procedures are followed.
Monitoring of TIB classification ensuring that grade and price given matches the quality and value, of tobacco.
Supervising buyers to ensure tobacco purchased is not mixed, over conditioned or containing NTRM.
Monitoring buyers in checking randomly weight at between 5 - 10% of bales to confirm weight compliance
Monitoring of data by Insuring that signing of PCN and all information regarding bales, grades and weight conform to the market purchased.
Compliance with JTI Environmental, Health and Safety Standards by promoting safety in all tasks performed.
Providing Assistance the leaf quality manager in Training of junior buyers, classifiers and new recruits and performing any other tasks as JTL
Junior Classifier
You will be joining the Leaf Buying and Services Department reporting to the Internal Grading supervisor in Morogoro.
This position is responsible for:
Assisting in classification of purchased tobacco under the direct charge of the IG Supervisor.
Monitoring the quality of purchased tobacco by working closely with IG Supervisor in resolving any issues or problems pertaining to the quality or condition of tobacco.
Compliance with JTI Environmental, Health and Safety Standards by promoting safety in all tasks performed.
Performing any other tasks as assigned by line supervisor.
