Habari Node Limited, the leading ISP in Arusha, seeks to employ a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER.

Location: Arusha –Tanzania

Remuneration: Attractive package with allowances. Dependant on qualification and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Preferably a Bachelors degree /Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering (computer programming), Computer Science or related field, with skills in Graphic and Website design.
High proficiency in and ability to code php, JAVA and great familiarity with Mysql, HTML, ASP and Visual basic (VB).
Knowledge on how to use UML diagrams (Use cases, sequential, data flow, class diagrams etc)
Knowledge on how to develop mobile application like android or j2me.

Work Experience:

Software /Mobile programming, web and graphic design experience is an added advantage.

Additional Skills:

· Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies including social networking, blogs, RSS feeds, etc.

· Experience in general computer maintenance, servers, databases, and mailing lists.

· Strong practical background in graphic design, including the knowledge of using designing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Corel Draw, Acrobat, Flash and Fireworks.

· MySQL admin, SQL commands. Repeation on the minimum requirements MYSQL

· Using Content Management System [CMS] such as Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress etc

· Using frameworks such as Yii, codeigniter, laravel etc

· A team player, strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.

· Creative and innovative
