THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT (BMD)
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Head of Department. She/He will be responsible for coordination of one of the programmes of the department and be prepared to work unusual hours and also work from IEMS Regional Centres outside Maseru at times. Candidates should also be computer literate in Micro Soft Suite.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be considered for appointment, candidates must be in possession of at least a Masters degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or Education with background in business or any Social Sciences discipline with a background in Human Resource Development, Management or Business. He/She should have a considerable practical and administrative experience in teaching and administering programmes in Education.
DUTIES:
The successful candidate will, among other things be expected to:
§ Teach in the department programmes and other IEMS programmes.
§ Design relevant programmes in the department
§ Develop teaching materials for use by students in the department
§ Conduct research in his/her field of study
§ Participate in the relevant department workshops for the departmental programmes as well as IEMS workshop.
§ Provide the necessary learner support services to students as may be required.
§ Work as part of a team to achieve the objectives of the department and the Institute.
§ Perform such other duties as may be assigned to him/her by the Head of Department and/or by the Management of the Institute.
CONTRACT DURATION:
The appointment for this post shall be on contract for a period of two years.

The University offers salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
