Position: Partnership Manager, Integrated Programmes (1 position)
Duty Station: Gulu
The Partnership Manager, Integrated programmes will work under the direct control and supervision of the Program Manager, Child Protection. The job holder will Initiate and take lead for regional program development, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on integrated Child Rights Governance, Child protection, Livelihoods, health, nutrition and HIV/AIDS Programming implemented in the region. Provide guidance, capacity support and overall coordination of the regional partners with project planning, implementation, M&E and reporting.
Requirement:
Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in any relevant field. Post Graduate training in Project Management, Community Development or a Master’s degree in any relevant field is an added advantage.
At least 5 years progressive experience in programme implementation, management and development with at least 3 of those years in a management position in an international development organisation. Relevant experience supervising community based social development projects and with International NGOs particularly those addressing children’s rights and applying the partnership approach.
Demonstrable financial, planning and budget management skills a MUST with thorough knowledge of proposal development and program implementation.
Experience of developing, maintaining and improving relationships with local governments, UN Agencies and other NGOs.
Human Resources Coordinator (1 position)
Duty Stations; Kampala
The Human Resources Coordinator will work under the direct control and supervision of the Head of Human Resources and Administration. In close consultation with the Head of HR, the job holder contributes to implementation of the Human Resources Management Policies, take specific responsibility for initiation of the Development plans from the performance management system and follow up of the same to ensure availability of adequate skills mix and competencies required to deliver the SCiUG’s strategy. In addition, the job holder takes responsibility for administration and management of the HR Information system, practices and policy through documentation, data entry and management in line with the SCiUG strategy and objectives.
Requirement:
Academic back ground, Experience & Person Specifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in humanities, or any relevant field. A Post graduate training in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
A minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience in HR, preferably with an International NGO.
Demonstrated understanding and proficiency in the field of Human Resources Management and ability to work under minimum supervision.
Good understanding of national legal requirements relating to HR, including labour laws and administrative law and laws applicable to INGOs regulations.

Project Coordinator,
Child Rights Governance (2 positions)
Duty Stations: Bundibugyo and Gulu The Project Coordinator will work under the direct control and supervision of the Programme Manager, Child Rights Governance.
The Job holder will take overall responsibility for the technical implementation of the local level Child Rights Governance (CRG) thematic programme in the region; and provide technical and operational support to the national level implementation of the CRG Objective 2 on supporting implementation of Government Accountability mechanisms/ structures.
Requirement:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in humanities, development studies, law, or any relevant field. Post Graduate training in Project Management and Community Development is an added advantage.
At least 3 years of implementing programmes with strong linkage to the CRC, child rights governance and child rights programming preferably with International NGOs.
Thorough understanding and demonstrated commitment to child rights issues including the link between promotion, protection and fulfilment of children’s rights.

Project Coordinator HIV/AIDS (1 position).
Duty Station; Gulu
The Project Coordinator will work under the direct control and supervision of the Partnership Manager Integrated. The person will facilitate the development and execution of the HIV/AIDS activities, provide technical assistance to implementing partners, monitor and evaluate the HIV/AIDS activities in the district in line with organizational Strategy and objectives.
Requirement:
Academic back ground, Experience & Person Specifications;
A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in social sciences, social work and social administration, development studies, education or any relevant field. Post Graduate training in Project Management, Participatory Community Development is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in HIV/AIDS programming, working with local partners and programme development.
Working experience in planning and research/monitoring and evaluations, ability to work with multi-sectoral teams and agencies.
Team worker with good interpersonal/communication, documentation, and presentation and good facilitation skills.
Must be computer literate with ability to transform experiences from the field into lessons learnt.
Fluency in English is a must and working knowledge of the community an added advantage.

Finance Assistant (1 position)
Duty Station; Amuru
The Finance Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Team Leader Amuru. The Job Holder will take responsibility for efficient and careful handling of cash, undertake approved payments by both cash and cheques and maintaining the cash book up to date and reconciled. In addition the position holder will take initiatives to ensure that SCiUG funds are used in the best possible way
Requirement:
Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;
A minimum of a Diploma in Accounts, Finance/Business studies or the equivalent accrued working experience in a related position. Possession of a graduate or partial professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, etc is of an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience, preferably with International NGOs.
Good accounting and finance management skills with knowledge of computer Accounting packages and understanding of basic accounting concepts.
Self motivated, flexible with demonstrated ability to meet set deadlines and high good integrity.
Team player with good interpersonal/communication, record keeping skills and the ability to work under minimum supervision.
Computer literary and fluency in English are a MUST.
Ability to maintain personal professional development and competencies on financial issues.
Logistics Officer (1 position)
Duty Station; Kasese
The Logistics Officer will work under the direct control and supervision of the Partnership Manager, Finance and Administration. The job holder will support the District Offices in the in the provision of logistic management and support, ensuring that this is done through timely service delivery to the field programmes in line with SCiUG policies, procedures and guidelines.
Requirement:
Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;
A minimum of a Degree in humanities, Finance/Business studies or the equivalent accrued working experience in a related position. Possession of a graduate or partial professional qualification in logistics, procurement and supplies management is of an added advantage.
At least 3 years experience in office administration or management preferably in an INGO

Administration Assistant (1 position)
Duty Station; Bundibugyo
The Administration Assistant will work under the direct control and supervision of the Partnership Manager, Finance and Administration. The job holder will Support the district office on all administrative aspects relating to office and program implementation including procurement, transport / fleet management and warehousing /Finance in line with SC policies, procedures and guidelines
Requirement:
Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;
A minimum of a diploma in Logistics and supply chain management or a relevant discipline. Additional or post graduate qualification in Logistics, Transport/Fleet or warehouse management is an added advantage
A minimum of 2 years working experience in handling logistics generally and in emergency situation or conflict/post conflict situations in a reputable organisation, preferably an international NGO.
Excellent skills in written and oral communication.

Program Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Specialist (1 position)
Duty Station; Gulu with regular travel to the Eastern and Northern parts of the country
The Program Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will work under the direct control and supervision of the DCR Consortium Manager in Kampala. The job holder will oversee the DCR program monitoring and evaluation and provide M&E technical Assistance to other DCR staff and partners in the implementation of M&E plans. He/she will also ensure that information reporting systems fulfil the needs of the DCR members to maximize quality programming and ongoing learning.
Requirement:
Academic back ground, Experience & Person Specifications;
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Development Studies, Epidemiology or related field, or equivalent accrued working experience.
At least three years experience in setting up and managing M&E systems; Participatory assessment and monitoring; Data processing and analysis; Computerised word and data processing and Capacity building/Training others on M&E. Ability to organise and train DCR staff on M&E Good contextual knowledge related to civil society/ community assessment (i.e., Local community priorities, social and cultural constraints and local political and economic environment)
Knowledge of and commitment to the Child Protection code of conduct.
Effective interpersonal skills – oral and written communication skills.
Computer literacy skills: Microsoft office especially word, spreadsheet, Access and other relevant software.
